Ayala's Mission Statement

“Every piece of my ‘art jewelry’ reflects a labor and journey of love that mirrors my many eclectic emotions. I am grateful to be spiritually guided on this creative journey, and try to intertwine many of nature’s ‘natural fibers’ and its abundance of ‘healing crystals’ in each of my pieces. I take great care to combine these natural elements with other materials so that each piece is not only an original work of art, but maintains a harmonious balance to nature, and supplies positive energy to the wearer."

"I hope that my art visually conveys the feel of each handcrafted piece, it’s ‘heirloom characteristics’, as well as the quality of craftsmanship.  I take tremendous pride in my creations.  My art expresses me intimately and I am thrilled to share my passions with you. I wish you much harmony and balance in life as you enjoy my unique creations!”

Ayala Raiter - Jewelry Designer CV

Born in Israel in 1968, Ayala Raiter was an artistic child for as long as she can remember – always looking for new creative outlets. All through her adult life Ayala has been creating unique functional art utilizing an eclectic mix of materials including wood, fabric, clay and gemstones. However, like many young artists Ayala chose a more traditional path for her formal education which included her acquiring a B.A. in social work and a certification in primary school teaching. Ayala worked as a teacher from 1995-2002 never straying far from her creativity as she taught both art and general studies.

Always pushing her own limits, in her spare time Ayala continued to study with various art “masters’ where she had many opportunities to exercise her creative ingenuity.

In 2002 Ayala decided to follow her intuition and change her professional path completely. Although her teaching job was a very rewarding one, she felt a stronger calling to her own creative expression and had a vision to develop what is now her Ayala Raiter jewelry brand - beautiful wearable art jewelry in the form of three distinct collections. She strives to give her creations a ‘close to nature’ feel - creations that are harmonious, balanced and seemingly organic.

Since 2002, Ayala has been designing and creating art from her studio in Canada. These new surroundings have enhanced her artistic inspiration.  Ayala’s now popular jewelry collection features special healing crystals intended to provide positive energy for body and soul.  For example, Rose Quartz is believed to heal the heart and attract love.  While, citrine is said to be a stone of prosperity, attracting wealth and success, Garnet is a stone of abundance believed to improve body strength and endurance.

Ayala enjoys exploring a mix of elements in her work. In addition to her healing crystals, she combines decoupage and other techniques to create her Signature Collection an exquisite, one‑of‑a‑kind visual experience.

Ayala is very committed to her craft. She makes time to create beautiful jewelry with her loving husband’s support and three children by her side. Her clients include exclusive boutiques, museums and galleries in Canada, the United States and Israel.

"My jewelry collections are for the woman who is ahead of the curve. Decorated with hanging crystals, gemstones and layers of mixed chains; a suitable fit for nightlife or day-to-day activities to polish any look. The collections are made up of limited edition works, making each piece as unique as the woman wearing them. These one-of-a-kind earrings, bracelets and necklaces are for the non-conformist who is a true individual."

"I love creating one-of-a-kind art jewelry and then seeing how it looks on just the right person. Jewelry can bring out the beauty in a woman’s face. Accessories can say a lot about your personality and I think my collection has something for every woman who is confident enough to have their own style and who is not afraid to ‘own’ her individuality."
